Drive Distance: Approx. 45 km (One Way) | Drive Time: 2 Hours (One Way) Trek Distance: 6 km (One Way)
Begin your day with a healthy breakfast at the camp/hotel in Barkot before heading towards Janki Chatti, the starting point of the Yamunotri trek. From here, embark on a scenic 6 km trek through beautiful valleys and mountain trails leading to the sacred Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna.
Pilgrims may also opt for ponies or palkis (on extra cost) for the trek. Upon arrival, take a holy dip in the natural thermal springs and seek divine blessings at one of the revered Char Dham shrines.
After darshan, return via the same route to Janki Chatti and drive back to Barkot. Relax after a spiritually fulfilling day.
