Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Ahmedabad & Sightseeing

Arrive in Ahmedabad and meet your guide for a warm welcome

Transfer to the hotel and freshen up

  • Visit Akshardham Temple (Gandhinagar) – A magnificent spiritual and cultural complex (closed on Mondays)
  • Explore Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, built in 1573, famous for its exquisite stone latticework
  • Visit Hatheesing Jain Temple, built in 1850 by Sheth Hatheesing, one of Ahmedabad’s most ornate Jain temples
  • Explore Gandhi Ashram (Sabarmati Ashram) – Gandhi’s headquarters during India’s struggle for independence, founded in 1915. The ashram still produces handicrafts, handmade paper, and spinning wheels. Open 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
  • Drive to Adalaj Stepwell, a seven-storied architectural wonder built by Queen Rudabai. The stepwell served as a cool retreat and resting place during summers, with chambers, verandahs, and spacious corridors offering relief from the heat

Day 2 - Ahmedabad – Jamnagar – Dwarka (Approx. 450 km)

Breakfast at the hotel

  • Depart for Dwarka, en route visit Bala Hanuman Temple, Jamnagar – A famous pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Ram, renowned for the uninterrupted chanting of “Shri Ram, Jai Ram” since 1964, recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records. Devotees chant in shifts 24 hours a day.
  • Continue to Dwarka
  • Visit the sacred Dwarkadhish Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna, and attend the evening Aarti Darshan

Day 3 - Dwarka – Bet Dwarka – Nageshwar – Dwarka

Attend early morning Aarti at Dwarkadhish Temple

Return to the hotel for breakfast . Post breakfast, proceed for sightseeing:

  • Bet Dwarka – Also known as Bet Shankhoddar, located 5 km from Okha and 30 km from Dwarka. It is believed to be the residence of Lord Krishna with his family and the site where Vishnu defeated the demon Shankhasura. The Krishna temple here is a major highlight for devotees
  • Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple – One of the 12 revered Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, an important pilgrimage site mentioned in the Puranas
  • Rukmini Temple – Dedicated to Rukmini, the beloved wife of Lord Krishna, showcasing beautiful carvings and spiritual significance

Day 4 - Dwarka – Porbandar – Somnath (Approx. 250 km)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.

Drive to Porbandar and visit:

  • Kirti Mandir – The birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi, including his ancestral house, Kasturba Gandhi’s house, a museum, and Gandhi’s study room.
  • Sudama Temple – Dedicated to Sudama, the childhood friend of Lord Krishna.
  • Continue the journey to Somnath.
  • In the evening, visit the sacred Somnath Jyotirlinga Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Attend the Aarti Darshan and enjoy the sound & light show narrating the temple’s history.

Day 5 - Somnath – Diu (Approx. 120 km)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel

  • Visit Bhalika Tirth and Triveni Ghat in Somnath.
  • Drive to Diu, a serene island destination known for its sun, sand, and sea.
  • Explore St. Paul’s Church – Dedicated to Our Lady of Immaculate Conception, constructed between 1601–1610. Its elaborate Portuguese façade is beautifully illuminated at night.
  • Visit Diu Fort – An expansive coastal fort built between 1535–1541, offering panoramic sea views. Discover its giant lighthouse, historic cannons, stone galleries, and creative lighting that enhances its majestic presence at night.
  • Stroll through local markets and enjoy the scenic charm of the island.

Day 6 - Diu – Sasan Gir (Approx. 120 km)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel

  • Drive to Sasan Gir. (Note: Gir National Park is closed from 15th June to 15th October. During this period, we will visit Devalia Park. Devalia Park is closed on Wednesdays and during heavy rain.)
  • Explore Sasan Gir Lion Sanctuary, home to over 300 Asiatic lions. It is the only place outside Africa where lions can be seen in their natural habitat. The sanctuary spans approximately 1,450 sq km and is the last refuge of Asiatic lions in India
  • Enjoy the wildlife experience and scenic surroundings

Day 7 - Sasan Gir – Ahmedabad & Departure

  • Drive back to Ahmedabad
  • On arrival, transfer to airport/railway station for your onward journey
